Taking place in a Taisho-era Japan plagued by dangerous former humans known as “demons,” Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenage boy whose life is changed forever when his entire family is killed by one of these beasts. His younger sister, Nezuko, manages to survive, however, but begins transforming into a demon herself and thereby obtains the supernatural powers that these creatures possess such as super strength and regeneration.
